Product Description

SPF 2x10x12 — nominal 2 in. x 10 in. x 12 ft. dimensional lumber (typical actual size ~1-1/2" x 9-1/4" x 12') sold individually for structural framing uses such as joists, beams and rafters. Commonly sold as kiln-dried, #2 or better graded Spruce-Pine-Fir (SPF) (S4S surfacing available), this stock-size is specified where straight, stable softwood members are required for larger spans. Based on current online retail examples (observed single-piece prices of $16.49 and $22.88), a competitive resale price in the Dayton, IA 50530 area would be $19.99 each (median of observed offers ≈ $19.69, rounded to $19.99). If you want a quicker sell: list at $18.00–$19.50; if you need a higher-margin / lower-turn strategy, try $22.00–$24.00 and note species/grade in the listing.
