Nominal 2 x 2 x 8 ft dimensional lumber (SPF — Spruce/Pine/Fir) sold individually for blocking, bracing, furring and small trim work. Typical catalog specs list nominal 2" x 2" x 8' with actual dimensions about 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 8' (surfaced on four sides, S4S); available grades shown include Select or #2/Common and many listings are kiln-dried for stable moisture content.
