Product Description

Nominal 4" x 6" x 6" construction skid/block — a short length of dimensional timber used for skids, cribbing, blocking and general jobsite support. Nominal dimensions are 4" x 6" x 6" (typical finished 4x6 timbers are surfaced to roughly 3.5" x 5.5" depending on species and surfacing). These pieces are commonly offered in Douglas‑fir (S4S timbers) or pressure‑treated southern yellow pine for ground‑contact/cribbing applications and are sold by timber/length or by linear foot through lumber suppliers. Typical uses: shed/skid runners, cribbing/blocking under equipment, dunnage and temporary supports on construction sites.
