Product Description

Pressure-treated 6x6 x 8 ft ground-contact post (nominal 6" x 6" x 8' — actual ~5.5" x 5.5" x 96") manufactured and sold as an individual structural post for heavy-duty exterior use. These posts are pressure-preservative treated for ground-contact service (suitable for in-ground or concrete-set installations), typically offered as #2 grade southern yellow pine or hem‑fir, shipped wet from the mill and recommended to be allowed to season before finishing. Suggested competitive local resale price for Dayton, IA 50530: $33.00 each (this undercuts the observed median retail price of the sampled sellers while remaining within typical retail margins).
