3" x 10' Schedule 40 PVC DWV pipe — white, plain-end drain/waste/vent pipe manufactured to Schedule 40 dimensions for residential and commercial DWV systems. Nominal 3" size with an approximate outside diameter of 3.500" and typical wall thickness ~0.216"; sold in 10‑ft laying lengths and intended for gravity drainage and general DWV use (PVC; installed with primer and solvent cement; not for compressed‐air service; recommended operating temperatures up to about 140°F). Commonly dual‑marked for DWV and pressure/Schedule 40 applications and offered by plumbing manufacturers such as Charlotte Pipe, JM Eagle and IPEX in both cellular/foam‑core and solid/solid‑wall constructions.
