Product Description

Cherry Stone® Grit #1 (also called Type 1) is a fine, pre‑sorted crushed quartzite (average particle ~1/16") used as poultry/grit supplement and as a fine traction/aggregate/soil‑amendment material. The product is sold by the Cherry Stone brand (TCC Materials) as an insoluble, sharp quartzite grit intended for poultry digestion, traction on icy surfaces, paver joint fill and horticultural gritty mixes; manufacturer documentation and major retailers show the brand’s #1 size listed as Type 1 / 1/16". Note: Cherry Stone brand is commonly offered in 25 lb and 50 lb consumer bags and in bulk (per manufacturer and reseller listings); a 1 lb retail bag is not shown in manufacturer catalog pages I found, so any 1 lb pack would be a smaller retail pack sourced from a reseller rather than a manufacturer standard pack.
