DAP SmartBond 20 oz. Gun‑Grade Subfloor Adhesive (Mfr. 7079800056 / UPC 070798000544) is a professional, 20‑ounce (567 g) tan polyurethane foam adhesive formulated for subfloor panel installation and floor repairs. Designed to thread onto a dedicated applicator gun, SMARTBOND dispenses as a foam that collapses into a fast‑curing, gap‑bridging adhesive gel; it provides roughly 8× the coverage of standard cartridge adhesives (approximately 400 linear ft at a 1/2" bead), a 20‑minute open time for alignment, bonds to wet, dry, frozen and treated lumber, meets ASTM D3498 performance, and is reusable on the applicator for up to 30 days per the manufacturer technical data sheet.
