Product Description

Rust‑Oleum Automotive Self‑Etching Primer (12 oz aerosol, MPN 249322) is a dark‑green, oil‑based self‑etching spray primer formulated to prepare bare metal, aluminum and fiberglass for topcoat. The one‑step etch‑and‑prime formula promotes maximum adhesion, helps prevent rust, and provides a flat/matte, ready‑to‑coat surface. The can features an Any‑Angle spray system and wider spray tip for ease of application; coverage is approximately 10–12 sq ft per 12 oz can, dries to the touch in about 10 minutes and can be topcoated in ~30 minutes.
