Product Description

Diablo Demo Demon DSPD4040 — a 7/8 in (0.875") diameter, 6 in overall-length spade bit engineered for demolition and rough carpentry in nail-embedded and clean wood. The DSPD4040 uses a 1/4 in hex shank and high-carbon-steel (HCS) construction with Diablo’s DEMO-Edge™ dual cutting edges and Dura‑Tip™ to withstand nail hits, an optimized curved paddle for faster chip evacuation, and an Impact Strong™ shank design for extra stability in corded or cordless drill/impact drivers. Manufacturer and reseller specs report up to 60× longer life in nail-embedded wood vs. standard spade bits.
