Fernco P1002-43 / 018578000155 — Schedule 40 4" hub x 3" hub PVC flexible reducing coupling for DWV (sewer, drain, waste & vent) applications. Molded elastomeric (PVC) body with two corrosion-resistant stainless-steel worm-gear clamps; rated for typical DWV service (pressure tested to ~4.3 PSI) and a service temperature range about -30°F to 140°F. Designed to transition 4" hub (clay/cast-iron) to 3" hub (PVC/cast) while accommodating minor misalignment; commonly sold single-piece (each) and available from multiple national retailers.
