Product Description

Forest King — 14" Boy Scout axe/hatchet (Boy’s/Scout style, ~1-1/4 lb head) made and sold as a light-duty camp and trail tool. These small scout-style axes are commonly supplied with 14" turned handles sized for 1-1/4 lb heads and are used for campsite cutting, limbing, kindling and light hammering (many examples show a poll/hammer face). Vintage Forest King-branded examples appear on secondary-market listings and collector pages; replacement 14" hickory handles and catalog specs for “boy scout” 1-1/4 lb axes are available from handle suppliers. Use this listing copy for a retail/resale catalog listing; preserve the supplied SKU (LG161570) and describe condition and provenance separately when known.
