Hindley model 10601 (W40‑1 1/2) is a 1-1/2 inch gate hook-and-eye set listed in Hindley’s wire-hardware catalog as a standard gate hook & eye (zinc/zinc‑chromate finish options are shown in Hindley literature). The item is typically used to latch light gates, screens and doors; Hindley lists the size as 1-1/2" and sells the gate hook/eye in single units (catalog entry). Equivalent retail listings from multiple suppliers show the same 1-1/2" L‑hook & eye form in zinc‑plated steel and stainless steel finishes and commonly sold as single pieces or small multi‑packs — these are appropriate representative images and price comparators when a branded Hindley photo or a direct Hindley online retail page for model 10601 cannot be located.
