Product Description

Lock Entry “Tylo” (Kwikset Tylo keyed-entry knob, referenced by UPC/SKU 883351589246 / MFG 94002-828) is a tubular keyed-entry knobset in the Kwikset Security (Tylo) family. Catalog/spec pages describe it as an ANSI/BHMA Grade 3 residential entry knob with universal handing, adjustable backset (2-3/8" to 2-3/4"), fits 1-3/8"–1-3/4" doors, includes two keys and two interchangeable latch faceplates (round and square), and carries Kwikset’s stated mechanical/finish warranty. Public listings and distributor catalogs show this Tylo entry knob sold in standard finish codes identified as “3 / US3” (note: US3 maps to bright/polished brass in BHMA/US finish tables, not oil‑rubbed bronze). Current national retail offers for the same Tylo knob are about $14–$16 new; local/auction evidence shows used units selling for single‑digit dollars. Suggestion for Dayton, IA (50530) resale: if selling a new, still‑boxed Lock Entry Tylo (SKU 883351589246), list at $14 (competitive, with room to accept $12); if selling a loose/used unit removed from a door, list at $8 and expect ~ $5–$7 realized. (All factual specs and price points below are grounded in the cited manufacturer/retailer/auction pages.)
