Product Description

Midwest Fastener (SaberDrive) 50754 — #9 x 2-1/2" deck screw sold in a 5 lb. plastic tub (SKU 50754 / UPC 738287507546). Each 5 lb tub contains roughly 439–450 pieces (manufacturer packaging lists 439 pcs/tub; several distributors show ~450 pcs), weight ~5.4 lb. These are tan XL1500–coated steel deck screws with serrated thread, bugle head, Star (T25) drive and a Type‑17 point for reduced pre‑drilling. Packaged for contractors and pro‑retail, the 5 lb tub is intended for exterior/decking and heavy wood‑to‑wood fastening. Based on current online list prices from major distributors (FastenerLine, Zoro, Walmart Business), median marketplace pricing sits around the low‑to‑mid $40s–$50s; a competitive local resale price for Dayton, IA (50530) would be $49.99 each (5 lb tub), which positions you below several larger online sellers while preserving margin and matching contractor expectations.
