Hercules (Oatey) Megatape model 15110 is a professional-grade, gray PTFE thread-sealing tape sized 3/4 in. x 1000 in. (1000" length, 3/4" width). It is 3.5 mil thick (high-density PTFE), cUL-listed and marketed for plumbing and gas/water line applications; Oatey lists its temperature range as -450°F to 500°F and a pressure rating given relative to thread quality up to 10,000 psi. The tape is intended for use on plastic, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel or black iron piping (not for oxygen service) and is supplied as an extra-large, professional spool for trades use.
