Product Description

PPG Mildew Check® Multi‑Purpose Wash (PPG item 18‑1) is a ready-to-use exterior mildew/mold wash sold in 1‑gallon containers for cleaning and inhibiting regrowth on painted or stained wood siding, aluminum siding, fences, decks, stucco, brick, concrete and ceramic tile. Manufacturer directions (PPG) call for mixing with fresh household bleach at the container fill line for mildewcidal use, rinsing after application, and observing safety precautions; available distributor listings identify the product as PPG Mildew Check Multi‑Purpose Wash, 1 gal (MFG #: 18‑1/01). Based on current online offers for the same or closely comparable 1‑gallon mildew cleaners (retail listings range from about $27.49 to $39.25 per gallon), a competitive local resale price for Dayton, IA (ZIP 50530) would be near the market median — roughly $29 each — with room to position at $29–34 each depending on local pickup convenience and any bundled services (mixing, PPE, sprayer rental).
