Product Description

National Hardware N128-017 (282 series) 5" heavy-duty strap hinge — zinc‑plated hot‑rolled steel body with an aluminum pin, sold individually (screws not included). The 5" length and reinforced strap profile provide load distribution for shed doors, garden gates, bin lids and similar applications; holes are offset/countersunk for wood screws and the pin is tight/non‑removable so the hinge can be mounted left- or right‑hand. Catalog/spec pages list the model as N128-017 (UPC 038613205208) and specify a zinc finish, steel construction and typical working loads suitable for light-to-medium gate and door uses. (See sources for full spec pages and images.)
