Product Description

Owens Corning Starter Strip Plus (model SSPL) is a factory-made asphalt starter shingle designed to speed installation and provide a clean, sealed eave and rake edge. Each factory bundle covers approximately 105 linear feet (16 two-piece starter shingles per bundle); individual piece size is about 7-3/4" × 39-3/8" and full shingle size 15-1/2" × 39-3/8". The product includes a continuous sealant for strong adhesion to the first course of shingles and is intended for use with field shingles having an exposure up to 6"; packaged for common retail sale with Owens Corning branded pink packaging. Suggested competitive local resale price (Dayton, IA 50530): $55.00 each (per factory bundle — each bundle ≈105 lin. ft.), positioned against typical retail listings of about $62–$70 to sell quickly while remaining attractive to local contractors and homeowners.
