Product Description

Redmond Natural Mineral Salt Block — 44 lb: a solid, 44-pound pasture block mined from an ancient (Jurassic-era) sea deposit in central Utah and offered as a free-choice mineral/salt supplement for livestock and wildlife. The block retains a broad spectrum of naturally occurring trace minerals and electrolytes (Redmond cites 50–60+ trace minerals) versus a plain white salt block; it is marketed for cattle, horses, goats, sheep and deer, OMRI-listed / chemical-processing free in manufacturer materials, and intended for placement in pastures, loafing areas or at feeding sites where animals can lick as-needed. (Product facts and sourcing are taken from Redmond’s agriculture materials and multiple current retailer catalog pages cited below.)
