SharkBite UR072A / U072LFA 1/2 in. Push-to-Connect x 1/2 in. FNPT female brass adapter — a Max™ series push female adapter made from dezincification‑resistant (DZR) lead‑free brass. Designed to join 1/2 in. CTS (PEX/copper/CPVC/PE‑RT/SDR‑9 HDPE) to a 1/2 in. female pipe thread without soldering, clamps or glue. SharkBite Max fittings feature a stainless steel retainer, lower insertion force and higher ratings versus first‑generation fittings; the product listing and spec sheet identify the UR072A / U072 (U072LFA retail part) and show manufacturer approvals and service limits used in catalog pages (200°F / up to several hundred psi per spec).
