SharkBite 90° Drop‑Ear Elbow — 1/2 in. push‑to‑connect x 1/2 in. female pipe thread — is a lead‑free DZR brass drop‑ear elbow designed for quick, rotatable connections to PEX, copper, CPVC or PE‑RT and a 1/2″ FNPT threaded outlet (commonly used for shower arms, tub spouts and other fixture stub‑outs). Push‑to‑connect end provides removable, tool‑free installation with stainless steel teeth and an EPDM O‑ring; mounting ears (three holes) let you secure the elbow to blocking. Product is sold under SharkBite model families including U334LF / UAB334LF and the Max replacement UR334A (manufacturer tech specs and retailer pages list 200°F / 200–400 psi ratings and agency listings).
