Product Description

Snap link (also called a snap hook or quick snap link) is a compact, tool-free connector used for chain, cable-attachment and rigging tasks — common sizes include 5/16" (≈8 mm) and 3/8" stock diameters with overall lengths around 3.1"–3.25". Typical catalog variants are zinc‑plated or powder‑coated steel with spring‑gate closures; working load listings on comparable 5/16" parts range from ~240 lb (for some zinc safety spring links) up to ~375–380 lb for gym/chain snap links. (See the cited product pages for specific size, finish and WLL per model.) Based on current retail listings (per‑unit prices observed $2.20–$5.56 and a per‑unit median ≈ $3.24), a competitive local resale price in Dayton, IA (ZIP 50530) would be $3.50 each — high enough to cover handling and small local margin yet competitive against online listings for single units.
