Product Description

Tapcon 1/4" x 1-1/4" concrete screw anchors (hex washer-head) are purpose-built masonry screws for fastening light fixtures, furring strips, electrical boxes and lumber to concrete, brick or block. Available in common boxed pack sizes (manufacturer model 24315 sold as a 75-count retail pack and HW4-114 commonly supplied as a 100-count box), the anchors are carbon-steel with Tapcon Blue Climaseal® corrosion coating, require a 3/16" carbide drill bit, have a minimum embedment of 1" and maximum recommended fixture thickness of 1/4". The 100-count box listings commonly include a correctly sized bit; verify pack count (75 vs. 100) when buying. (Sources listed below.)
