Product Description

U2 Fasteners Re‑Fine Screw — #8 x 2‑1/2" white, case‑hardened carbon‑steel finish screw sold in a 100‑count retail pack (U2 part Q08102500H, UPC 696244402672). The Re‑Fine builds on U2’s Fine Screw geometry with a very small finishing head and reverse/drawing thread beneath the head for controlled draw; it uses U2’s Tight Star recess (recommended T‑10 for #8) and a Tapper Point with a corkscrew start and blade‑cutting thread for efficient self‑tapping in trim, PVC, siding, railing spindles, window/door trim, baseboards and other finish carpentry where a minimal head and clean seating matter. (Facts from U2 product catalogue and multiple distributor listings.)
