Product Description

Wooster Silver Tip 5224 (2.5 in / 2-1/2") Thin Angle Sash Paint Brush — a precision sash/trim brush built for a smooth, low–brush-mark finish. The Silver Tip line uses Wooster CT™ white-and-silver polyester filaments (flagged/feathered tip) for superior leveling with enamels, varnish, polyurethane and lighter water‑based coatings; the thin, angled sash shape (2.5") is designed for clean cutting‑in along trim and sash. The brush is fitted with a rust‑resistant brushed‑steel ferrule and birch hardwood handle. Model variants are listed as 5224-2.5 / 5224-2 1/2 (Wooster catalog and retailer pages). Based on recent national retailer listings (per‑unit prices shown below), the current market median is about $8.73 per brush; a competitive local resale price for Dayton, IA 50530 would be $9.99 each (round to $10.00 for simple pricing), which positions you slightly above the online median while remaining competitive with common brick‑and‑mortar pricing and covering local fees and handling.
