Product Description

Zinsser Drywall Primer (Model 1500) — 5-gallon water‑based PVA primer designed to seal new drywall and tape joints for fast, low‑odor priming of interior walls and ceilings. The quick‑dry formula sands easily, will not raise the nap on new drywall, and cleans up with soap and water; it typically dries to the touch in ~30 minutes and can be recoated in about 1 hour. Practical coverage is approximately 400 sq ft per gallon (about 2,000 sq ft per 5‑gal pail) depending on substrate and application. Packaged as a 5‑gallon container for professional or large‑job use (manufacturer model 1500, UPC 047719015000).
